(Red Dragon by Thomas Harris) I have seen the film recently, and I really enjoyed it, but my mum told me I should read the book as it’s much better (which is the case with most books I find). We were gonna buy it at Waterstones for full price but then we went to a car boot sale and we found it for only 10p! Bargain!

(The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe by J. Randy Taraborrelli) I got this book yesterday at a little Oxfam bookshop for only £2.99, it was so cheap I just had to get it! It’s a beautiful book (hardback!!) and I can’t wait to read it, it’s meant to be good!

(Olivier by Anthony Holden) Found this at a shabby little bookstore in my town (which is why the book is quite shabby!) and it was also very cheap! I can’t wait to read this and learn more about his life and his relationship with Miss Vivien Leigh (my OTP).

(My Sister Marilyn by Berniece Baker Miracle and Mona Rae Miracle). This is meant to be a great book about Marilyn, and just look how lovely the actually book is!

It is now 11.45pm on the 7th May and I am finally writing this post - nearly 4 days after her birthday. I would’ve wrote this on her actual birthday but I was away the whole weekend and didn’t have access to a computer - I’m sorry Audrey! Right, as some of you may or may not know, Audrey is my angel. She is my inspiration, my love, and I can’t express how much I adore her. I love her for everything and she is perfect to me (despite her “Funny Face” which is perfectly gorgeous!), she is who I aspire to be like. I admire her films, her beauty, her talent, her grace and also how she wasn’t as angelic as people make her out to be, also, I especially love her work for UNICEF - which is why I chose this picture to honour her. She may not have been in her “prime” or what people would say her most beautiful, but to me, she is her most beautiful here. There is nothing more beautiful that she could’ve done. The fact she spent the last years of her life helping out these poor people, for nothing more than a $1 each year just proves how beautiful, kind hearted and amazing this woman is. Honestly, I can’t even begin to describe my love for Audrey! She is just perfect in my eyes. I thank her for everything, as tacky as this sounds she helps me through a lot, but I especially thank her for introducing me to the realm of Old Hollywood. She was the catalyst for my obsession and introduced me to not only all the amazing stars back then but movies too and I thank her for that. I love you Audrey, so much. Happy birthday Audrey!
“Audrey was a lady with an elegance and charm that was unsurpassed, except by her love for underprivileged children all over the world. God has a most beautiful new angel now that will know just what to do in heaven.”
Hi everyone! Oh, it’s been at least a month since I last posted something on here, and I feel so bad! I have no idea where this hiatus stemmed from, but I will try and post more as I have been looking at some of my favourite personal blogs recently, and they’ve all inspired me to start up again! I think I’m gonna do some film reviews, books on my to read list and some movie posts sometime soon, but other than that I really have nothing to say (the perks of living a boring teenage life). I’ll try and find some interesting things to say, but as these past weeks (and next few weeks) have been full of exams I really don’t know what to say apart from moaning about them and ranting about how bad I did (yes I did do bad, I got a D in my Biology). Anyways, hopefully I’ll think of more things to post, but I will be posting again soon!
